KOOL Oak Bay Half Marathon, Sunday, May 28

The KOOL Oak Bay Half Marathon is back, and we need your help to make it a success!

Support the “$21 for 21km”

Al Ferraby is once again holding his “$21 for 21k” campaign, raising funds in support of CFAX Santas Anonymous. Over the past four years, the $21 for 21km has raised more than $85,000 to help us fund local summer camps, help with special therapies, and assist families in crisis.

Listen to Mornings with Al Ferraby on CFAX 1070 from 5-9am, and donate to the $21 for 21km on CanadaHelps. Al will announce the total on May 26th.

If you’re running the half marathon, why not help Al toward his goal by joining our “race team” and collecting pledges toward Santas Anonymous? You can get a pledge sheet by calling our office at 250-920-4644.

Volunteer as a road marshal

In addition to donations to the $21 for 21km, we’re looking for people to help out by serving as road marshalls at the marathon, cheering on Al and all of the other runners. Check out the Road Marshal Job Description and contact us at if you’d like to help.
