Position Title: Special Events Volunteer
Purpose: Special Events Volunteer helps with preparing for and attending special events. Such as taking donations, setup and tear down of events, coordinating supplies needed: signage, donation boxes, tables, chairs etc, and any other needs required for various special events.
Location: Office and various event locations around the Greater Victoria Area
Key Responsibilities:
- Staffing donation tables at events;
- Aid in coordinating supplies required for events;
- Help with set up and tear down of events
- Attend team meetings
Liaisons With: Communications Team (Social Media, Website, Santa Bear)
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated interpersonal, organization skills
- Comfortable interacting with the public
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and also be a team player
- Willing to work flexible hours
